Reading sports blogs has ruined sports for me. Just like becoming a cop ruined cop shows for me. I used to enjoy watching and reading about sports. Now I watch hoping someone will screw up, or do something strange, so I can rip them. First in my own mind... now in a blog of my own, so I can talk about whatever I please. Here's hoping I can contribute to someone else looking for all the fault in the world surrounding the sports we love.

NASCAR? Yeah, NASCAR!

I don't like Jeff Gordon.

That being said up front, I really don't like announcers who so obviously favor one team/side so I share this thought:

The announcers on FOX for the NASCAR race today must be in love with Jeffy Gordon.

*They were talking about how its easy to "overdrive" the new car at this track...
*They were talking about how Jeffy really knows this track well and understands how to drive here...
*They were talking about how some drivers will just hang back and conserve the car....

Then Jeffy loses it in a corner and gets passed easily, by like 9 guys, and they "assume" that something was wrong with the car...

...tire going down?...

...brakes locked up?...

Zoom in on the car - they don't see a tire going down. They look at the replay and its clear that the brakes did not lock up.

The ONLY possibility is... that Jeffy MESSED UP. But do they even suggest that? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Even after a pit stop and the crew confirms that nothing is wrong with the tires or brakes... they just stop talking about it rather than suggest that good old Jeff Gordon might have screwed up. (Even he was on the radio whining that something must be wrong with the car. What a frickin' idiot.)

Face it people, Jeffy drove into the corner too hard and lost it.

Ok, I'm calm now.
